I've had an established business name for many years. How can I obtain a website name to match?

Reserving an Internet business domain name (or website address) like www.yourorganization.org or www.yourcompany.net is an important initial step in your website project.

You will want to pick a domain name that is the same or as close as possible to your existing business name. It is also important to select a domain name that will be easy for people to remember and one that is clearly associated with you. Google, Yahoo and others offer user-friendly tools for domain availability checking. Click here to use Yahoo's Find a Domain Name feature where you will be able to see if your domain of choice is available. You can expect to pay about $10 a year for domain registration.
